Kieron A Handicap Snip
It’s down to ten in Dancing On Ice and we’re extremely happy with the way things are shaping up in this series. If you followed our advice you should be sitting on healthy green positions on Hayley, Mikey and Daniella and barring injury we see no reason why they won’t be right in the mix at the business end of the competition.
Hayley is the front-runner in this series, and there to be shot at, but she has an endearing chemistry with her pro partner Dan, and you sense they have built up a healthy fan base already. The content, speed and energy they put into last week’s routine made them look head and shoulders above the rest of the field at this stage:
This week we’ve been studying the handicap betting and reckon Kieron is the blot, and worth backing e/w at 15-2 with his mark of +6.5.
Kieron’s scores have gone down over the 3 weeks but he wasn’t helped last Sunday by being first up, and first up always leads to a reduced score. He undoubtedly has the ability to bounce back to his week one score of 17.5, and if he does an overall handicap total of 24pts should make him hard to beat.
On the elimination front, we expect Dr Hilary to avoid the bottom 2 again, even if he’s bottom of the judges’ leaderboard, so we would suggest laying him again at anything around the 2-1 mark on either the elimination or bottom 2 markets on Betfair.
The next elimination is hard to call. Sharron may get more support this week after the media furore following Jason’s comments last Sunday, and Heather is sure to have another leg drama that will likely aid her vote, while the gorgeous Emily appears to have the teen vote sewn up. At the respective odds, we have to recommend Heather to small stakes at 5-1.
