How not to lose backing Lucy
Things move lightning quick in reality tv betting world, so quick this gets to you a day too late. Katie Price, as you are no doubt aware, has walked out of I’m A Celeb. For those who took our advice and seized the big prices on her, here’s hoping you were able to lay off in time because she was trading as second favourite prior to her decision, and her price was starting to look way too short.
George Hamilton, having won immunity from the first elimination, has been backed into favourite with many firms, and now his price is looking too short, though we’re happy to have backed him at bigger and hope you followed our advice and did likewise.
Kim Woodburn’s price came in, then shot back out after mole-gate with Justin, and has since yo-yo-ed back in. She’s creating lots of fireworks but we’re struggling to see how she can possibly win.
From a value perspective the two we suggest you focus on right now are Sam Fox and Lucy Benjamin. The dilemma is, they’re both up for eviction tonight, and if the bookies have got it right, one of them will go, with Gino considered a safe bet to stay, available at 13-2 at time of writing this on Monday afternoon.
Lucy is favourite to go but we think she could out-poll Sam Fox in what is a positive vote to save. We suggest taking the 16s Lucy in the outright, as she will shorten big time if she gets through – by the way, she has top reality tv form having won Celebrity X Factor – and having a lumpier bet on her at 4-1 to be Queen Of The Jungle.
Queen Of The Jungle is looking very winnable for either Sam or Lucy with only Kim and Sabrina to beat. In the fear things go pear-shaped and Lucy leaves tonight, you should back her to be eliminated at 10-11 to cover your stakes on the other two Lucy bets. And if Sam survives at Lucy’s expense, re-invest on Sam to be Queen Of The Jungle.
