Kate vs Rufus Too Close To Call
Let’s Dance for Sport Relief – Winner – Rufus Hound 5-6 (William Hill), Kate & Richard 7-2 (Coral)
It is the final of Let’s Dance For Sport Relief this Saturday and going on the public vote in the three heats, it is between the automatic qualifiers Rufus Hound, Kate Garraway & Richard Arnold, and Cheryl Fergison.
Of these three, Rufus Hound’s cover of Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Love is a stand out, as is Kate & Richard’s Born To Hand Jive number. The latter is a real party-pleaser, encouraging all and sundry to join in. For this reason, we reckon it has a sporting chance of upsetting strong favourite Rufus.
Winning this show would also represent a redemption, of sorts, for Kate Garraway after her disastrous dancing as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing a few years back, and she may just encourage a powerful lobby of support.
Rufus has had over 350,000 views on YouTube and will be very hard to beat. Running order could play its part – whoever is last up on the night having the chance to steal the show and grab the voting momentum. All we can do is recommend you get both of these green in your book as we see this as a clear 2-horse race. The last qualifying heat was the weakest by far and it is hard to see Cheryl’s Vanilla Ice impression landing a blow against these two heavyweight challengers for the crown.
As things stand currently Rufus is a best-priced 5-6 with William Hill; Kate & Richard a best-priced 7-2 with Coral, so by sizing your stakes accordingly you can lock down a nice little profit.
