Worth A Tenor

Yet another celeb-based reality tv talent contest arrived on our screens last Friday in the form of ITV’s Popstar To Operastar.
With Danny Jones accompanied by loud screams whenever he took to the stage, it would appear he is hugely popular with the public. McFly are a very average band that make Blink 182 look like The Beatles but Jones appears to have the right profile to attract young and old female voters alike.
We reckon Kym Marsh strikes the right balance between decent operatic voice and vote-winning persona and could give Jones a run for his money.
So take the 5-2 Jones and 5-1 Marsh on the Outright, and with Vanessa White likely to get a bounce this week having been bottom 2 last Friday, Jimmy Osmond or Bernie Nolan are the value call to be next out. We’d recommend backing both at level stakes at 4s for a 5-2 pay out if one of them is eliminated.
