Charlie To Prove Herself A Dance Angel

The first knockout round of the BBC’s So You Think You Can Dance takes place tomorrow night, with one female and one male being eliminated out of the 14-strong field.
The two couples (each couple consisting of one male and one female) with the lowest scores on the public vote, will have to dance in the results show; and the judges will then decide the one boy and one girl to be eliminated.
Mandy Montanez from Maryland, USA didn’t come across especially well in her pre-series VT which could translate into her getting a low public vote. Conversely, Charlie Bruce came across extremely well.
As dancers with charisma, Tommy Franzen and Robbie White appear the pick of the guys at this early stage but don’t represent any great value, while Chloe and Gavin look a potentially weak dance pairing in week one, but again don’t look great elimination value.
It is mostly conjecture at such an early stage in the competition but for a couple of early punts you could do a lot worse than back Charlie Bruce on the outright at a tempting 16s – as she could become something of a viewer favourite – while ballet dancer Alastair Postlethwaite looks a vulnerable performer and the value at 9-2 to be the first male eliminated.
