‘The Gambler’ by Rob Furber is out today

This is a very special day as it marks the official release of my book, ‘The Gambler’, published by Mirror Books.

It’s the culmination of many years’ work piecing together some of the highlights of the last couple of decades operating in a very colourful corner of the betting world, and which helped inspire the creation of this website.

Applying my gambler’s instincts to my personal life, I took a long shot punt on a long distance relationship paying off. The story transforms into a seat-of-the-pants, rollercoaster ride through culture shock, visa red tape, and Eurovision trading drama.

And, in a nutshell, that is ‘The Gambler’ – part quirky betting memoir, part comedy drama when east meets west; one man’s journey through risk, romance, crossed wires and crossed fingers.
